1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly to us when you register to attend a BASH Market, apply to exhibit, book an appointment, message a vendor, or otherwise interact with our platform:
- Identity & contact: first and last name, email address, phone number, and profile photo.
- Business details: business name, address, city, state, ZIP, business website and Instagram, buyer type, number of locations, product categories, annual volume, and brands you are interested in.
- Registration details: the market you are attending, ticket type (including VIP status and payment status), team members you add, and any proof of business you upload.
- On-site check-in data: photos of government-issued ID and any information extracted from it, captured at the venue to verify buyer credentials.
- Activity data: vendors you save, appointments you book, messages you send, reviews you submit, and other actions you take on the platform.
We also collect limited technical data automatically, such as pages viewed and device information, to operate and improve the platform.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use buyer information to:
- process your market registration and issue your ticket and digital badge;
- verify your wholesale-buyer credentials and check you in at the show;
- enable appointment booking and messaging between buyers and vendors;
- share your contact and business details with exhibiting vendors (see Section 3);
- send you event-related communications, travel and hotel information, and important updates;
- analyze attendance and engagement to improve future markets; and
- comply with legal obligations and enforce these Terms.
3. Sharing Buyer Information With Vendors
Please read carefully: BASH Markets is a wholesale trade show whose core purpose is to connect retail buyers with exhibiting brands. When you register to attend, your name, business name, business type, contact information (email and phone), buyer type, and the appointments and messages you initiate may be shared with the vendors whose brands you interact with, so they can prepare for and follow up on meetings, process wholesale orders, and manage their customer relationships.
We do not sell your information to third-party data brokers. Sharing is limited to the vendors exhibiting at the market(s) you attend and the vendors you choose to engage with (for example, by saving their brand, booking an appointment, or sending a message). Vendors are permitted to use your information only for wholesale-order and appointment-related purposes and are required to honor your requests to stop receiving marketing communications.
4. How Vendors May Use Your Information
Vendors exhibiting at a BASH Market receive your business information in their Vendor Portal so they can confirm appointments, prepare line sheets and samples, follow up after the show, and process wholesale orders. Vendors are independent businesses with their own privacy policies — once your information is shared with a vendor for a legitimate business purpose, that vendor is responsible for handling it in accordance with its own practices and applicable law.
5. Data Retention
We retain buyer information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to maintain records of attendance, orders, and communications, and to comply with legal obligations. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at the address below; note that we may need to retain certain records to comply with legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.
6. Your Choices & Rights
You may update your profile information at any time from the My BASH dashboard. Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details in Section 9.
You may opt out of receiving promotional emails by using the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us. Transactional and event-critical messages (such as badge, appointment, and check-in confirmations) will still be sent.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children's Privacy
BASH Markets is a wholesale trade show intended for business professionals. The platform is not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a minor, please contact us so we can delete it.
